When we met with Abby and Adam a few days before their wedding, Abby said something to me that really touched me to the core. When asking them what they were most excited about for their wedding, Abby said these words, “My dad is now 80 years old. Growing up, I never dreamed he would be alive to walk me down the aisle – let alone meet the man I would spend the rest of my life with. I am thrilled that I will have my mom and dad there to give me away to my best friend.”
It was in that moment of our conversation I knew this was the heart of their story. And when Abby’s dad had walked her down the aisle, he said to Adam, “She’s all yours.” Such trust – such love.
