There are some couples who we feel an instant connection with – and Shannon and Matt are absolutely one of those couples. Not only are they so fun to be around, they share a story and a journey unique and beautiful all its own.
Shannon and Matt created a video last year to enter a competition to win a $50,000 dream wedding at Encanterra Country Club. To participate, the couples had to create a video including photos, interviews and snippets that told their love story. Given that Matt is a screenwriter/producer, they knew this is something they could totally do and decided to create a short video. The first time I watched it I was laughing the first few minutes and tearing up by the end. Not surprisingly, Shannon and Matt won the competition!
I love knowing that two people so deserving won this contest, and because of it had the wedding of their dreams. It was a celebration of true love – love that has gone through so much and only grown stronger. The type of love that endures…
